- Greetings all,
-
- Could some kind soul explain what would be required to provide
- at internet connection to our Novell 3.11 network. We are running 16Mbit
- token ring (using Proteon 1390/92 and Madge NIC's running the IPX/SPX
- protocols.
-
- We would need to exchange mail with the internet, maintain an FTP site,
- acquire a news feed, and allow a few staions direct access (telnet, ftp, etc.)
- (If at all possible we do NOT want to assign each station an IP address as
- most stations will not need to access the internet directly. Is there a way
- to assign addresses as they are needed?)
-
- If some or all portions of this question are a FAQ could someone point me
- to its location. Otherwise, please email me and I will summarize the
- responses (if the topic is of general interest).
-
- Thanks in advance for the help!
