  28. At BYU where I was a system manager we had one server (486 50 MHz with
  29. 32 Meg of RAM) running a 250 user version of 3.11.  The server serviced
  30. about 125 student workstations and 75-100 professor workstations, and 
  31. never had any noticible speed problems.  The only speed problems we 
  32. encountered were cable related where the workstations were in a completely
  33. different building.  At peak times there might be a little slowing if
  34. everyone compiles at once, but that is not too likely.

  40. Maybe it is not common with his customers, but the versions over 50 users
  41. are very common elsewhere.

  45. Definately.  Call 1-800-NETWARE and ask for the Novell buyers guide.  This
  46. guide has all of the products Novell sells.  With this, your reseller
  47. should be able to get his hands on a copy of NetWare for more than 20 users.
