  12. I am trying to set up a Charon gateway solely for transferring mail.
  13. After booting and loading Charon, the first outgoing (Novell ==> SMTP) mail
  14. crashes the gateway.  All incoming mail (SMTP ==> Novell) works fine.  I can
  15. reset the gateway PC and it DELIVERS the queued mail message fine.
  16. I try sending another message and it crashes again.  The SMTP window
  17. shows the message that is being sent while in the process of crashing,
  18. along with lots of graphis characters, then finally the entire
  19. screen goes into reverse video and the gateway is fully crashed.  I have tried
  20. the same setup on a different PC in the same subnet and it locks up as well.
  21. I have deleted the entire gateway configuration on the server and reinstalled
  22. it with no luck.  I have had a local guru look at my configuration (mine is
  23. an edited version of his configuration) and he found nothing wrong.
  24. I read the manual cover to cover to no avail.
