  11. I have what may sound like a trivial problem:

  13. To get the Novell LOGIN name and user long name of the currently
  14. logged in user into a VisualBasic program (obviously under
  15. MS-Windows). So far, we set the user id and the user long name
  16. in DOS environment variables as part of the system login script.
  17. This is not a very satisfactory solutions.

  19. I recently downloaded winup7.zip from ftp.novell.com and found
  20. various DLLs in there which looked like having a useful content,
  21. i.e. NWNETAPI.DLL and NWIPXSPX.DLL. Now using Microsofts EXEHDR
  22. program I can easily find out the names of functions defined in
  23. these DLLs, but I have no idea what they do and what the parameter
  24. conventions are.

  26. Can anyone out there help, or even better does someone have a
  27. VisualBasic file with the declarations for these DLLs or at least
  28. the relevant ones for my problem.
