  11. I am administering a small Novall network and I am very new at it.   
  12. Currently I have one of our workstations with an inexpensive tape drive  
  13. attached to it.  I have been doing backups of the Novell server on the  
  14. workstation tape drive using an the "Tape" application.  I have run into  
  15. problems with the tape software indicating to me that it would not be able  
  16. to preserve the Novell permissions.  How do people generally do backups of  
  17. their Novell server?  I understand that there are NLM's that would allow  
  18. me to directly hookup a tape drive to the server.  What advantage would  
  19. such a setup have over using the workstation?   I should mention also that  
  20. the server is running Netware 3.11 on a 486.
