  12. Have a rather interesting problem.  Running an Everex 486/33 Cube EISA machine 
  13. as a 3.11 server.  Adaptec 1740 controller running 2 Seagate 94601-15 drives 
  14. (Devices #0 and #1) and a EXCEL DAT (this is the WANGDAT that is oemed from 
  15. WANGTEK)(Device #3).

  17. On bootup controller card reports all three devices.  Loading tapedrv.nlm 
  18. works fine. It finds the tape drive reports the name of the tape in the drive. 
  19. After a while, (any where from 1 hour to 3 days) if you try to do a backup or 
  20. any ARCSERVE stuff to the tape drive it comes back with a ffff message from 
  21. the drive.  You can then unload Arcserve.nlm and the tapedrv.nlm fine but if 
  22. you try to reload the tapedrv.nlm it reports that the tape drive is not found.
