- The other day (well, yesterday) I posted a request for information about Appsoft Image and
- whether or not my copy might have been dysfunctional. Last night I received a personal
- phone call from Randy Adams himself! Now, you may think "so what?" and perhaps if you
- lived in California you could be forgiven for thinking so, but I live in Durham, England!
- Randy was so concerned about my possible problem that he phoned me from the States!!
-
- I am *VERY* impressed with Appsoft, and with Randy in particular. When I first ordered
- Appsoft Image I posted a "Kudos to Appsoft" message saying how pleased I was with their
- customer service, and I can now only re-affirm that in the highest possible way.
-
- As for my not hearing from them via email, this is most likely due to an email fault and
- is most certainly not due to Randy or Appsoft's lack of interest in customer problems.
-
- With Randy's assistance (continuing this morning at 8am local and around midnight his
- time) my problems with Image have been sorted out (for some reason my swapfile was just
- too small, and since NeXTstep/mach doesn't do any "garbage" collecting in the swapfile, it
- would just continue to grow - not as a result of Image's coding.)
-
- Over the years I have had literally everything with my NeXT go wrong, every purchase,
- every enhancement, everything...This is the first time when a company has responded so
- enthusiastically and with such eagerness to make sure the customer is satisfied to the
- fullest degree possible.
-
- All I can say is "Wow" and Kudos II to Appsoft!
-
- A very impressed customer,
- Scott
