- I've been wondering for some time now how to read scancodes from the console of
- an NCR 3000 series machine (running SVR4). In particular, what I want to do
- is detect when, say, the Control or Alt keys are pressed.

- Now, I've gleaned from the system manuals that some cunning combination of
- <sys/kd.h> and ioctl() is going to be required - unfortunately, my attempts
- to date have resulted mainly in dead consoles :-(
