  12. I am trying to create some material which will help me to get the students
  13. up to speed on schematic capture, simulation, system overview, etc.
  14.  
  15. There are thousands of pages (it seems) on the cd-rom, viewable on the
  16. screen via the BOLD reader, and all of these pages can all be printed out.
  17. That's too much material for the students to absorb in one semester.
  18.  
  19. Is there some way whereby some of this material can be edited, so I can
  20. incorporate pieces of this in custom-made documentation for our students?

  22. I see two problems here:
  23.  
  24. 1. Technical problem: How would I do this? What editor can I use to modify
  25.    the existing pages and add material of my own?
  26.  
  27. 2. Legal problem: Assuming that item 1 can be done, that leaves the serious
  28.    legal problem of incorporating copyrighted material in such a manual.
  29.    Any thoughts on this one?
