- I turned off all extensions and file sharing on my Q700 after experiencing
- 30 seconds of disk I/O in several circumstances (starting applications,
- trying to read PICT files, sometimes on startup) and occasional freeze-ups,
- and I still have the problems. It is a recent phenomenon, and I cannot
- trace it to anything except possibly for using StuffIt. I have checked to
- make sure that the files are not compressed that I am trying to access.
-
- Any suggestions?
-
- Thanks.
