- One of System 7(.01)'s oddities is that upon a reboot, the desktop often
- appears in an earlier state than when the reboot occurred. Sometimes deleted
- files even reappear.

- Is there some way of forcing the system/finder/whatever is in charge to
- update the current state of the desktop?
