- I have a Mac. SE/30 with System 7.0. So far, I have been having no
- trouble at all but recently I've been having problems with emptying
- the trash. For some unknown reason, I am unable to clear the contents
- of the trash (even if I select "Empty Trash...") from the Special
- Menu. Instead I get an error message saying "The item *** could not be
- deleted because it contains items that are in use". Ok...so I quit all
- applications and repeat the procedure again. Still the same message
- appears. The surprising thing is that the items in the trash are all
- empty folders. Why am I unable to clear the trash ?
-
- Any help will greatly be appreciated.
