  24. Yes,that was my post and thanks for all the responses!  I know how to 
  25. change icons under system 7.x, but the problem was that we could no longer 
  26. change icons or drive/folder names.  I knew it had something to do with 
  27. file sharing, and found out that when a system 6.x appleshare user logs 
  28. into a system 7.x shared file/folder/drive, youcan no longer alter names or 
  29. icons.  The fix is to boot from a floppy, or use a nifty utility I found 
  30. at Sumex-Aim/info-mac/util called "Unlock Folder."  You can run this 
  31. utility, reboot and change icons/names.  Very handy.
