- Yes,that was my post and thanks for all the responses! I know how to
- change icons under system 7.x, but the problem was that we could no longer
- change icons or drive/folder names. I knew it had something to do with
- file sharing, and found out that when a system 6.x appleshare user logs
- into a system 7.x shared file/folder/drive, youcan no longer alter names or
- icons. The fix is to boot from a floppy, or use a nifty utility I found
- at Sumex-Aim/info-mac/util called "Unlock Folder." You can run this
- utility, reboot and change icons/names. Very handy.
