- Apple's HD SC Setup only works with drives shipped by Apple. This is
- extremely irritating and causes enormous hassles trying to support many
- Macs in an institutional setting, especially now that Apple is out of the
- add-on drive market. There is no [good] reason for this; after all, if
- Apple's A/UX can support third-party drives, so can the MacOS.
