  15. DiskTools is no longer able to launch most applications. 
  16. If you find yourself needing to boot off a floppy with 
  17. System 7.1, you will need to do a minimal install first.
  18. Then you can use that system (about 820k) on HD floppy.

  20. MacTools CP DiskFix, disk formatting, and many other 
  21. applications will otherwise give an error, usually "-108"
  22. (not enough memory oddly enough) when launched.

  24. Apple says that DiskTools is not meant to be used except to
  25. run Disk First Aid and HD SC Setup. It is a crippled system.
