- It depends what your hardware config. is. With a stock IIci, you may see
- measurable improvements in math performance when using Speedometer. I have
- seen 50 percent improvements, with some faster screen redraws. Apparently
- doesn't work if you have DayStar Power Cache cards installed.
-
- Speedometer ratings for math go from 12 to more than 18+. As far as conflicts, I have seen none.
-
- Caveat: There is no point in using Radius Math 1.5 with System 7.01, as these
- tools already are a part of 7.01. I am using 7.1, and this is where I notice
- the difference. You should also see a difference when using 7.0.
-
- Also: Radius Math apparently reduces the mathematical accuracy of your
- machine; this will not work on any Mac with ROMs older than a IIci. A math
- chip must be installed on board for this to have any benefit.
