- I don't know what is happening, but I can suggest a solution. Open the
- Apple Menu Items folder and throw the MacWrite II alias into the Trash.
- Then open the folder containing MacWrite II, click once on the icon, and
- choose "Make Alias" from the File menu. Drag the alias icon into the
- Apple Menu Items folder. The new one should work correctly.
