  22. I don't know what is happening, but I can suggest a solution.  Open the
  23. Apple Menu Items folder and throw the MacWrite II alias into the Trash.
  24. Then open the folder containing MacWrite II, click once on the icon, and
  25. choose "Make Alias" from the File menu.  Drag the alias icon into the
  26. Apple Menu Items folder.  The new one should work correctly.
