- I have an alias for MacWrite II in my Apple Menu Items folder and
- recently it started to act funny. Originally, it simply refused to open
- MacWrite II, now it not only refuses to open the application, it will run
- the "Get Info" command on any item that happens to be highlighted! What
- is happening? I am constantly trying new inits and control panels, but
- this problem doesn't correspond to any new installations. (The two most
- recent were SuperClcock 4.0.1 and Deskpict 1.1) The funny thing is, by
- brother just described the same thing occuring on his IIsi 5/80 with the
- Control Panels alias and I know he isn't running these two inits. We are
- both running system 7.1. I have an LC 4/40. Has anyone had this happen?
- I haven't tried reinstalling the system software but rebuilding the desk-
- top has no effect. Any information on what my be causing this would be
- very appreciated!! Thanks.
