  16. My PowerBook 160 had System 7.1 pre-installed and it sleeps just fine.
  17. I use the Norton Essential Utilities for the PowerBook to modify the
  18. sleep time based on application and AC power/battery/low battery
  19. conditions.  Do you have an init that prevents the PowerBook from
  20. sleeping?  There are several floating around.
