  11. I would like to ask the Net how to maintain and distribute Mac passwords
  12. throughout and internet of Macs.  I tried using aliases to a server's Users
  13. and Groups file but of course it doesn't work.  Each mac has an owner, so
  14. coping the U & G file doesn't work either.

  16. We have a several labs (connected via a GatorBox IP tunnel) with a total of
  17. 40 macs on ethernet and appletalk all running system 7.  If we open our net
  18. to the world via ARA, FTPd, more tunnels, and slip access, some security is
  19. required.

  21. It seems to me that a user should be able to change his or her password
  22. while sitting at any mac or having connected to any mac.  The problem then,
  23. is how to take notice of, and distribute this change.
