  14. It appears that the "Enhanced Sound Manager" (Sys 6.0.7 and later) supports
  15. only an equal-tempered scale when using the waveTable synthesizer.
  16. Is it still possible to specify exact frequencies with the new Sound Manager,
  17. as could be done with "noteCmd" described in IM vol5 ?
  18.  
  19. Also, I'd welcome ideas on how to cause the amplitude of a note to decay,
  20. since the Sound Manager's "tickleCmd" seems to have disappeared between
  21. IM vol5 and IM vol6.
