- You can't fight city hall or the IRS. The problem is that nonprofit
- tax-exempt organizations can not be "company" specific. I believe that BMUG
- went through the same process. Our South Bay Mac Group is now SBMUG ("South
- Bay" refers to Santa Monica Bay and anything south of LAX down to San Pedro,
- not the SF Bay "South Bay"), and recently received tax exempt status.
