  17.    You can't fight city hall or the IRS.  The problem is that nonprofit
  18. tax-exempt organizations can not be "company" specific.  I believe that BMUG
  19. went through the same process.  Our South Bay Mac Group is now SBMUG ("South
  20. Bay" refers to Santa Monica Bay and anything south of LAX down to San Pedro,
  21. not the SF Bay "South Bay"), and recently received tax exempt status.
