- Does anyone have a recipe for localizing MacApp 3-based applications for Roman
- language markets? For now, we're shooting at producing a demo version of our
- app that will speak Italian in a few short weeks.
-
- We already have our in-house code prepped: all Americanisms are in resources
- (dialogs, error messages, etc.). There are parts of MacApp that overlap with
- our code, specifically error messages. It looks like a few changes to
- ErrorMgr.r will solve most of that problem. But what of the rest of MacApp?
-
- If anyone has already gone through this process, we would greatly appreciate
- receiving any tips, hints, etc. you might be able to supply.
-
- So far our process has included global searches for occurrences of ",' and 0x,
- and thorough siftings through .r files. We are also working on getting our
- hands on the system software and keyboards for specific markets.
