  17. I'm not a quicktime expert but things play well off my external CD300.  Any
  18. quicktime movie that's any good will have to be pretty large, so a CD is a 
  19. good place to leave them.

  25. Define 'sampling'.  You mean playing one?  See below.  As far as getting clips
  26. from your favorite RUSH album into 'snd ' files, you can't do it with the 
  27. standard Apple CD setup package (that I know of).  I imagine someone will
  28. write something to do it soon enough.

  32. Yes!  The audio CD init seems to conflict with AccessPC.  You have to make a 
  33. choice - listen to tunes or read MS-DOS floppys, sometimes the choice gets made
  34. for you.

  36. I'd suggest waiting 'til the next round of Macs come out in Feb before you buy
  37. a IIvx...
