  24. If you shop around, new carts are more like $75-$85. A while ago Computer
  25. Shopper did an article on refilling your cartridges. It seems that the toner
  26. tank will hold enough toner for about 3500 pages, while the rest of the
  27. guts are good for about 12000 pages.

  29. If you refill your own and keep track of the refills, you can do it for about 
  30. $12.00 a refill for the toner.  If you have a Cannon CX or SX engine, you need
  31. to replace a felt pad (it usually comes as a kit in the box) and that is a
  32. little more.

  34. If you are truely adventurous, you can replace the drum with one that lasts
  35. about 20 refills. That's the part the wears the most.
