  11. I have a Mac. SE/30 with System 7.0. So far, I have been having no
  12. trouble at all but recently I've been having problems with emptying
  13. the trash. For some unknown reason, I am unable to clear the contents
  14. of the trash (even if I select "Empty Trash...") from the Special
  15. Menu. Instead I get an error message saying "The item *** could not be
  16. deleted because it contains items that are in use". Ok...so I quit all
  17. applications and repeat the procedure again. Still the same message
  18. appears. The surprising thing is that the items in the trash are all
  19. empty folders. Why am I unable to clear the trash ?
