  12. In the realm of virus protection, I like the Disinfectant INIT,
  13. part of Disinfectant which of course is not primarily an init, but
  14. *is* free :-)

  16. For sounds, I like SndControl a little better than SoundMaster.
  17. It's part of Ricardo Ettore's Sound Manager Package.

  19. ProSwitch is handy, lets me click on the System 7 application menu
  20. icon and switch apps System 6 style, with the added advantage of
  21. optionally hiding the frontmost application when doing so.

  23. Extensions Manager, lets you keep track of all the little buggers
  24. and turn them on/off individually.  Version 1.8 also lets you
  25. track other things besides control panels and extensions, and lets
  26. you save worksets.

  28. Get More Info, brings up a different Finder box when option-Get
  29. Info is invoked, lets you view and edit things like file type and
  30. creator, and setting Finder flags.
