- Hi folks!
-
- I was in the local CompUSA store here, when I stumbled across
- a set of TrueType fonts for Windows, made by a company whose name escapes
- me, something like "L'il Bits" or something. Anyway, the font set was
- the StarTrek set, and what I was wondering is if TrueType fonts are
- really interchangeable. I know TrueType is supposed to be a "standard",
- but that doesn't mean everyone follows the standard to the letter (ouch).
- If they can be used, (and this is to the c.s.m.p. folks) what kind of
- conversion has to be done? I have access to a PC with FTP to a Sun, and
- I have SunTar on my mac. Will this be sufficient bit-twiddling? Has
- anyone else done this? Does anyone else really care? (No) Please
- e-mail me to save net-bandwith if you have answers. If enough people
- are interested in the answer as well, I'll post a follow-up. If no one
- replies with answers, I won't post a follow-up. I'll shut up now.
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Cap.
