  16.  The new Apple Stylewriter II is out. I find it to compare favorably with
  17.  the HP Deskwriter. Here's what I've found about the SW II : 360 dpi, ink
  18.  jet, and can do apple greyscale. The speed is certainly faster than what I
  19.  have seen for the Stylewriter I. It is networkable.
  20.  The Speed spec's frmo the manual are as follows:
  21.  Up to 3 pages per minute in draft mode (180 dpi).
  22.  Up to 2 pages per minute in normal mode.
  23.  Up to 1.5 pages per minute in best mode.
  24.  Actual speed depends on the images printed and on the Mac used. 
  25.  It uses the sheet feeder for up to 100 sheets of paper or 15 envelopes. 
  26.  Apple also redesigned it to be one piece instead of two like the old SW.
  27.  Since I use my SW II for business, most of my needs are using the truetype
  28.  fonts for decent looking memos and spreadsheets. Graphics certainly look
  29.  good with the grey scale, but as with any ink jet, lots of black areas make
  30.  the paper curl slightly. But then, if you are doing lots of graphic output,
  31.  you will probably want a higher caliber printer anyway.
  32.  You should be able to find a SW II priced for under $320.
