  12. I'm planning to transfer a considerable amount of data (several MBs)
  13. from an FTP archive to a Mac. Since no modem is available the actual
  14. transfer must be done via MS-DOS disks.
  15. Is there any UNIX (or perhaps MS-Dos) program available that allows building
  16. an archive  for multiple files and then split up this archive into several
  17. files that fit on a disk each? Of course I would need a program that exactly
  18. reverses this process on the Mac once the files have been transferred there.

  20. Any suggestion anyone? Or am I asking too much?
