  12. I recently downloaded files from ftp.apple.com and sumex.  I downloaded
  13. them to a Unix account through ftp, and from there to my LCII through 
  14. Kermit and Supra.

  16. The file sc-018-stdfil* was decoded by Stuffit and extracted properly.
  17. Other files like file-handling-qas.hqx and standard-file-tips.hqx
  18. were decoded (by Stuffit) into .sit files which didn't have the appropriate
  19. icon and would not be opened by Stuffit (even though Info says it is
  20. a Stuffit 1.5.1 document and indeed doubleclicking on it opens the application
  21. but does nothing with the archive).

  23. The same thing happened with a few da's from sumex such as miniWRITER.

  25. Anyone has any idea what I may be doing wrong?  Has anyone succesfully
  26. downloaded those file-handling... files from ftp?
