- Summary: Answer for power-down/spin-down of disk drives under program ctl
- Keywords: power down
-
- I recall a recent discussion of whether or not drives could be spun down under
- program control, and the consensus seemed to be only PowerBook type drives.
- Well, I recently got a Quantum pro425 which is a 3.5" HH drive (presumably not
- the typical PB size drive) and it spins down under the SCSI save CDEV.-kby
