- My Apple 13" RGB monitor has in recent months been making a variety
- of annoying sounds, including very-high-pitched whines, sputtering
- buzzes, and the like. Nothing very dramatic (certainly nothing
- like the wretched IBM 3163 terminal I have on my desk at work),
- but enough to be fairly disturbing in the silence of my basement.
-
- Is this just a natural symptom of age? (The tube is about 2 years old.)
- Or does it sound like there's something fixable going on here?
-
- Thanks to any who can help.
