  12. My Apple 13" RGB monitor has in recent months been making a variety
  13. of annoying sounds, including very-high-pitched whines, sputtering
  14. buzzes, and the like.  Nothing very dramatic (certainly nothing
  15. like the wretched IBM 3163 terminal I have on my desk at work),
  16. but enough to be fairly disturbing in the silence of my basement.

  18. Is this just a natural symptom of age? (The tube is about 2 years old.)
  19. Or does it sound like there's something fixable going on here?
