- I looked up the exact reference: it's called {An Album of Map
- ^^^^^
- Projections} (not Atlas), by a guy named Snyder. It has brief
- accounts of the history and math for each projection; the same
- author also has a more advanced text out (also published by USGS)
- called {Map Projections: a Working Manual} which includes code
- examples. I think USGS has a 1-800 number for ordering; anyone
- out there know it?
