  14. One way to get ftp software requires Fetch and StuffIt Expander.

  16. A very good source of ftp!able files for the Mac is
  17. sumex-aim.stanford.edu. _Especially_ if you avoid connecting during
  18. California daytime hours. If sumex is too busy, you can try
  19. wuarchive.wustl.edu, which has an identical copy (mirror) of the sumex
  20. files.

  22. Fetch is the software that goes out there and gets the file, StuffIt
  23. Expander de-compresses almost anything that you get. A good way to find
  24. out what is new is a daily update called InfoMac, which is located in the
  25. subdirectory im, in the subdirectory digest, at sumex.

  27. Both Fetch and StuffIt Expander are free or shareware, available from
  28. sumex. How a beginner with no suitable software can de-compress Fetch, I
  29. don!t know  :-(
