  20. This is the StartupScreen.  There have been other threads about creating
  21. a new StartupScreen using MacPaint or LightningPaint.  In "Save As" or
  22. "Save a Copy As" dialogs, you can save a graphics file as a StartUpScreen
  23. type of file named StartUpScreen in your Systems Folder.  That is it. 
  24. There are other utilities which do the same thing.  Have fun.  I have
  25. Escher landscapes in my Mac's start up screens.
