- I've got a few questions saved up for this newsgroup:
-
- 1) If I use transparent buttons to create hi-lited text fields, can I
- scroll these fields? When I try to, the button redraws over the text field
- for each line scrolled as a black rectangle....I just thought of
- something..maybe if I put the button in the bg?
-
- 2) I've got a 24 bit board in my II CI. I understand that HC uses its own
- draw routines and that in order to display pictures with millions of colors
- I need to use 32 bit QuickDraw. Soooo... How do I use HC and display 24
- bit picts? (and kepp my visual effects..etc..) Is there a xcmd or glue
- routine that will check for 24 bit capability and then switch the comp from
- 256 to millions, display the pict and then switch back to 256 when the
- viewer is done looking?
-
- 3) Where and how do I buy the QuickTime XCMD?
-
- 4) Is there a FAQ for this group?
-
- Thanks in advance, Patrick.
