- In the same vein: I'm trying to develop a stack that seems to crash
- if QuickTime 1.0 is loaded. I think it's crashing when it invokes
- Rinaldi's otherwise terrific StrWidth external, but I'm not entirely
- sure. Anyway, I would like to have the stack check for the presence
- of QuickTime in the user's System or Extensions folders, so as to be
- able to issue a warning to the user.
-
- Two questions:
- (1) Does anyone know about conflicts between HC (or externals) and QT?
- (2) Could someone please, please, PLEASE email or post an EXAMPLE of how
- to use GetDir? I'm not a programmer, and GetDir's syntax documentation
- seems much more complex and obscure than usual -- in any case, I can't
- for the life of me figure it out, even after an hour of trial and error
- (100 per cent error, sigh). (I've been able to figure out others fine.)
-
- Many thanks in advance!
