- A lot of credit card companies will reimburse you the difference in
- price if you see something you bought on their card at a lower price
- during a certain period of time after the purchase. If you go into
- your local one-horse-town computer store and plunk down $2899 on your
- Visa card for a nice new IIsi 3/40, you may be able (depending on the
- card issuer) to get a refund just by showing them J&R's big ad on the
- back of the science section of Tuesday's NY Times. I know that
- Chemical Bank does this.
