- The Macs that handle 16-bit color directly are the Q950, the IIvx, and
- (maybe) the LCII. Don't know about the Performas (I _hate_ that
- name). Pretty sure bet that a Q700 in 24-bit color will do QuickTime
- faster than a IIvx in 16-bit color.
