- Hello. We just got in some 8 Meg SIMMs and were trying to install them
- in a IIci. We took out the existing 4-1 Meg SIMMs and put in
- the 8 Meggers. We then booted and turned on the 32 bit
- addressing in the memory control panel. Oh, they are installed
- in the first bank. We currently get bus errors or Finder, bad
- f-line errors when we boot back up. And the last time we booted
- (no extensions--as were all the previous boots), we got a dialog
- box with a bomb in it, that just flickered, no message, just the
- flickering box with a bomb in it.
-
- If anyone has done this, how did you accomplish adding the 8 Meg
- SIMMs? Thanks for any ideas.
