  18. rumor has it that the 100s cost Apple over $1000 each, and that the 
  19. reason they were selling so cheap is because Apple was discontinuing them
  20. and had to make room in the warehouses for current models.
  21.    If that's true, $800 for a 16 Mhz '000 in a PB is probably wishful
  22. thinking.  Especially since it would be a non-duo form factor, but without
  23. an internal drive sort of deal--Apple factories would have to add a third
  24. powerbook shell to their lines (also remember that Apple never built a 
  25. single 100--they contracted out to Sony).
