  10. I'm looking to buy an external hard drive for my LC in the 200Mb range. 
  11. I'll probably buy it from APS unless someone out there has a better
  12. vendor.  I initially asked about the Quantum ELS 170 which goes for
  13. $429.  The salesman however recommended the Maxtor 213 for $469.  He
  14. also said the Maxtor is slightly faster and quieter.  Both have two
  15. year warrantees and are - according to the salesman - low power, half
  16. height drives that I could use internally in my LC if later desired.
  17. Any recommendations?  I have had good experiences with quantum in the
  18. past but know little about Maxtor.  Any problems / experiences?
