  12. Sorry if this is a faq, but I've not been able to find anything
  13. on the following, and don't want to get any sales-droids 
  14. on my scent yet -

  16. In looking at buying a Quadra 700, and talking with some people
  17. who already own one, a couple of unresolved questions have 
  18. emerged. (I'm looking at a 700 vs a 950 because I'm using my
  19. own money :-)

  21. When you look at the memory slots, you'll see some sockets
  22. in addition to the standard SIMM slots which are labeled
  23. VIDEO SRAM - since the Quadra normally comes with 8 bit color/
  24. b&w capability, what does filling these memory slots give you?
  25. Increased speed? 24 bit color?

  27. Dayna Cache Card - From the ads, I've seen that Dayne sells a 
  28. cache card for the 700/900.  Can anyone say what kind of speed up
  29. this gives (it appears not be be an acclerated card, just memory).
  30. It there a difference between that model and the one for the 700/900/
  31. 950 model (other than about $100)?
