- Not that I'm dissapointed with the performance of my Mac, but I'm
- starting to get in to A/UX and would like an 040. Problem is, I like my
- IIfx and the way I have it configured. It has six slots, and I see no
- good reason for me to trade it for a three slot Q700 (can't afford a 950).
-
- What I need is info on what 040 accelerators are out there for
- the IIfx, how much they cost (generally) and any opinions on these devices
- you may have. I've seen articles on the Fusion TokaMac fx (nice but
- expensive... still, if you know anything...) and I saw something about
- a TechWorks 33Mhz 040 board, but I've seen no specs and no reviews.
-
- Any help is greatly appreciated. If it turns out that a new machine is
- really the only way to go, I figure I may as well wait for the 060 or a
- PowerPC. Not that these will be in my budget either but... :^)
-
- Thanks...
