- Actually, killing an application is cmd-opt-esc. On the IIsi, reset is
- ctrl-cmd-power and interrupt is cmd-power.

- This is probably the sound the monitor makes when it's degaussing itself
- at power on. Try pressing the degauss switch on the back of the monitor
- (it there is any) to see if it's the same sound. Or try to power your
- Mac on first, then waiting a while before you power on the monitor to
- identify the sound.
