- Does anyone know what the problem of error reading long supervisor word or
- something is? Every once in a while (fairly often), my IIsi drops into
- MacsBug and that's what it says the reason was.
- When I try to restart the app/finder (ea) or quit it (es) from MacsBug, it
- just drops right back in with the same thing! I have to reboot to get it
- to work again.
-
- I tried reinstalling the system, but it still does it (though not quite as
- often). I can't say for sure what action causes it, but it's always when
- I open or close an application or select something from a menu. (happened
- when I ejected a disk once, too!)
-
- Do I have to reformat my hard drive? (groan...) Or do I have a more serious
- problem? Is there maybe a way I can check my hard drive for errors?
-
- Thanks all!
-
- Joel.
