  33.    I know the exact situation you are in...I had a Plus and a 735meg HD with
  34.    it...the problem is not in the HD really, but the Plus (duh) but it can
  35.    be fixed with software...you simply need to use SilverLining 5.28 or
  36.    earlyer, not the current version that you are using...LaCie for some
  37.    reason droped MacPlus SCSI incompatibility patching from the later
  38.    SilverLining versions...the old version should work fine for you...

  40. It may also be a Mac+ rom problem. The old begie Mac+:ses has a rom
  41. bug that prevents them to boot from a SCSI disk that asserts Unit
  42. Attention on power up. Unit Attention is a formatting option on most
  43. drives, but on some drives this (mis)feature cannot be turned off and
  44. thus wont allow a begie Mac+ to boot from it. The newer platinum Mac+
  45. has a rom patch that allows it to boot also from a drive that asserts
  46. Unit Attention.
