  24. I would try to _borrow_ a "known good" cable. Do you have any friends
  25. with DeskWriters (or ImageWriters, or StyleWriters) ? On the other hand,
  26. Do you know of a computer store that will let you return a cable
  27. if it doesn't solve your problem?

  29. Surely someone at AT&T would have a cable that you could borrow for
  30. an evening.
