- I missed the start of this thread, so feel free to flame me if I miss
- the point. One problem you might check is the paper. The fusing roller
- (run by an ordinary heating element, *not* the low-power imaging laser)
- has to get the paper/toner very hot to melt the toner. If you are using
- cheap paper with high moisture content, the moisture will be driven out
- and the paper will curl a lot. If you switch to "higher grade" or
- copier-rated paper, it will not curl much. The LS uses the same Canon
- engine as lots of other 4 PPM printers (Laserwriter NTR, HP LJIIIP,
- DEClaser 1152, etc), and is a reliable engine. I have one on my desk
- and have no curl problems at all.
